Lullen is found in Seattle, where he is daily inspired by the beauty of the ocean waves and the rain and sunlight that are captured in their depths. He believes that music has the power to evoke strong emotions in a listener. For his listeners — most of whom live in a chaotic world that never seems to slow down or stop — he wanted to create the powerful feeling of peacefulness. 

So, he carefully designed his soft piano melodies and atmospheric soundscapes to mimic nature — the swell and rush of ocean waves, the sunlight playing on the water, the breeze pushing the fog into curling tendrils that twine around the pine trees.

It’s not for nothing that so many of us associate peace with the sound of waves lapping against the shore. He designed his songs with a predictable rhythmic beauty, like that of an ocean, to helps to unwind the mind, quiet tumbled thoughts, and lull the listener.
